New policy for renew Bodybuilding Coach Certificate effective on 1 April 2010 |

New policy for the coach certificate renewal procedure will be effective on 1 April 2010, please find the details as below:
1. Please fill out the application form (Part A) and submit this form together with photostat copies of the coach certificate, supporting documents and the renewal fee by post to HKCBBA. 2. Applicants must provide related work experience, school reference or any related course reference with at least 15 hours in length within the effective date of HKCBBA coach certificate. 3. If applicant cannot provide any related work experience or supporting documents, he/she must attend the <Renew Fitness Coach Workshop> which hold by HKCBBA every two months. Please fill out the application form (Part B) and submit this form together with a copy of the coach certificate by post to HKCBBA.
Renew Fee: 1. HKD $300 (valid 4 years) or 2. HKD $100 (valid 1 year) (Crossed cheque payable to: Hong Kong China Bodybuilding And Fitness Association)
Remark: Renew procedure must finished within 1 year after the HKCBBA coach certificate invalid.

The above letters/certificates must finished
or proceeding before the expiry date of HKCBBA Bodybuilding Coach Certificate.
Renew Fee:
1. HKD $300 (valid 4 years) or
2. HKD $100 (valid 1 year)

In order to enhance the awareness of HK outstanding coach, we are going to hold an Outstanding Fitness Coach Awards to recognize their contribution in Hong Kong.

Updated Information - 1 September 2008 The HKCC will launch the new Accredited Coach Renewal System (ACRS) in September 2008. Upon completion and passing of the Sports-General Theory (Part A) Course, accredited coaches will be issued with a "Coach Accreditation Card" for a validity of four years. In order to maintain an active status, accredited coaches are required to take part in continuing coach activities within the four years to accrue the required hours for renewal. All accredited coaches will receive their first "Coach Accreditation Card" and "Coach Logbook" free of charge. Further details can be browsed at http://www.hkcoaching.com/hk/acrs.asp
Replacement Procedure: 1.Completed application form 2.Original copy of the highest level Sports-General Theory Certificate 3.One photo of 1.5"W X 2"H (blue background) taken within recent 3 months with applicant's name and our association name at the back ; and 4.Two stamped (HK$1.4 stamp) and self-addressed envelopes.

Special Exemption in the Sports-General Theory (Part A) Course of the Hongkong Bank Foundation Coach Accreditation Programme and Fitness |

The Hnog Kong Coaching Committee has recently introduced a " Special Exemption on the Sports-General Theory (Part A) Course" of the CAP to recognize the achievement of this group of coaches. Current Elite Coaches with a minimum of 10 years' coaching experience at local national squad level (or equivalent) in Hong Kong are eligible to apply for the Special Exemption through nomination from HKCBBA.

This event was held by Kwai Ching District Council the Economic labour working group, Kwai Ching Home Affairs Department and Hong Kong Employment Development Service on 3-5 March 2005 at Kwai Ching Theatre. HKCBBA Vice Chairman Mr. Ben Lo and Mr. Law Kwok Keung were host the employment seminar for the personal trainer. |
